Over the years, Russ has acquired a very fine collection of vintage guitars and amplifiers.  He has been involved in recording for many years and has had his own “basement studio” for about 10 years.  Russ has been married to Kathy for 25 years and they have two sons.  He enjoys sports, camping, water skiing and spending time at the family cabin in Wisconsin.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Jason Larson

Jason started making music at a young age, and being a singer and guitarist, he was always the person to figure out the live sound situation for rehearsals and shows. As Jason continued writing songs, the natural progression was to record. After a few mediocre and expensive studio experiences he decided to look into the home studio and self recording avenue. Jason tracked, mixed and released his first full-length, self-recorded album, and soon after that other bands and solo artists started calling to record them. Jason started Pigpen Studios and it evolved into a place where he could record other independent artists as well as his own material.

Jason has always been kind of a gear dork and worked at the Fort Collins guitar store Spotlight Music doing repairs and sales for several years. In the midst of this he was hired by Brent Paschke, a guitarist friend from Minneapolis, who was playing with Pharrell Williams' band N.E.R.D., to be his guitar tech. Jason quickly moved on to be N.E.R.D.'s stage manager and later played bass for shows in Europe. As he was touring, Brent introduced him to Pro Tools.  Jason would track when he was home and bring his computer and Digi 002 Rack on the road to learn and experiment with the editing and mixing capabilities of Pro Tools.  Since getting off the road, Jason has been recording, mixing and producing bands from along the Colorado front range.  Some of the projects he has worked with include The Jimi Austin, Lindsey O'Brien Band, Other Side of Clearview, Motorhome, 2013, Johnny Hickman(Cracker), and his own band The Piggies.
